1. About WiseReturn

WiseReturn is a tax refund service operated by , trading as WiseReturn, pending registration as a tax agent with HMRC. By submitting a claim you agree to these terms. Contact: . WiseReturn is not currently VAT registered — fees do not include VAT.

2. Our service

We review your information and assess eligibility, submit a claim to HMRC on your behalf as your authorised tax agent, contact you within 5–7 working days of submission with an estimate, send regular (typically weekly) progress updates, and pay your refund within 5 working days of receiving it from HMRC, minus our fee. Occasionally, due to the founder's service commitments, responses may take slightly longer — we'll always keep you informed. We cannot guarantee a refund; that is at HMRC's discretion. Before submitting we'll send you a 64-8 authorisation form to sign and return; no claim is submitted without it.

3. Our fees

Our fee is 15% of the refund obtained, or £30, whichever is higher. No fee if no refund is obtained. You're never charged upfront. Refunds £75–£200: £30 flat fee. Above £200: 15%. Minimum claim £75 — smaller claims aren't accepted.

4. Your responsibilities

You confirm all information is accurate and complete, you authorise WiseReturn to act as your HMRC tax agent for the years selected, you haven't already claimed those years elsewhere, you'll tell us promptly if details change, and you'll cooperate fully with any HMRC enquiry. Providing false information may constitute fraud and could result in HMRC penalties, for which you remain solely liable.

5. Referral & creator programme

Both schemes work identically; only how the code is obtained differs. When someone completes their first claim using your code, you both receive £10 to your bank accounts. Rewards apply to claims of £75+, on a customer's first claim only, can't be combined with other offers, and are paid once the referred claim completes and our fee is collected. WiseReturn may withdraw codes used misleadingly.

6. Payment

Bank details are requested separately once your refund is confirmed; we don't collect them at submission. Refunds are paid within 5–7 working days of receipt from HMRC, minus our fee. Where you nominate WiseReturn to receive your refund you may cancel that nomination at any time in line with HMRC rules. If a refund is paid directly to you instead, our fee remains payable and will be invoiced, due within 14 days.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time before submission to HMRC at no charge. Once submitted, cancellation may not be possible. Email to cancel.

8. Disputes

Contact within 14 days of refund processing. We aim to resolve disputes within 10 working days.

9. HMRC enquiries

You agree to cooperate fully with any HMRC enquiry. We'll assist where reasonably possible but cannot be held liable for the outcome.

10. Limitation of liability

WiseReturn isn't liable for HMRC delays or decisions, loss from inaccurate information you provide, or indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to the fee paid for the relevant claim.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
