  • Vehicle details (make, model and dates used for work), if you claim mileage
  • Bank account details — used on your claim so HMRC can pay your refund directly to you, and to pay any referral rewards
  • How you heard about us and any referral code

3. How we use it

To process and submit your claim to HMRC, communicate about its status, calculate and invoice our fee on success, process referral rewards, improve our service, and meet legal obligations. We never sell your data or use it for marketing without your explicit consent.

Contract (to deliver the service you requested), legal obligation (record-keeping for tax and regulatory purposes), and legitimate interests (to operate and improve our service).

5. How we store and protect data

Your data is stored securely using encrypted systems. We retain personal and financial information for 7 years in line with HMRC requirements for successful claims. Where a claim is unsuccessful or withdrawn we retain data for 12 months then securely delete it, unless you ask sooner. Only authorised personnel have access.

With HMRC (to submit and manage your claim), payment processors (to collect our fee and to pay any referral rewards), and legal or regulatory bodies if required by law. We do not share your data for marketing purposes.
